Retaining rings

Eurobelt retaining rings are used to secure the central gear on the drive and driven shafts.They are placed on both sides of the central sprocket and are part of the self-guiding system of the modular belts, preventing the sprocket from sliding along the shaft and avoiding lateral displacements of the belt.

Hold-down profiles

During movement, a negative frictional force is generated between the modular belt and the surface on which it slides or is supported. The hold-down profiles, with a low coefficient of friction, are placed between the belt and the conveyor structure, reducing wear on the contact surfaces and helping to extend the belt’s service life.

Wearstrips

The flat wearstrips are fixed with flat-head plastic screws (M6 x 25 mm), ensuring a smooth surface. Their “dovetail” design allows for the absorption of expansion or contraction. Proper positioning and configuration, depending on the product weight and transport requirements, are key to extending the service life of the belt.
