Zero-Downtime Poultry Production: Savings and Efficiency with the Quickbelts

One of the most important poultry production plants in Latin America has managed to overcome the most critical challenges in its hanging area. The plant faced frequent problems with its PU belts (the so-called positive drive belts with sprockets) which required annual replacement and continuous repairs due to elongation, pitch loss and problems with tensioning. Maintenance was weekly and repairs required the use of different machines and the intervention of external suppliers to make new splices, which later on suffered from the use of chemicals for cleaning, causing interruptions in production and very high maintenance costs.

The plant used positive drive PU belts, which had frequent failures:

The Eurobelt Solution
